More than 3 hours of great music, more than 3,000 Fans, great guests and lots of fantastic surprises – that's how you can describe DORO's anniversary show in Düsseldorf, Germany last night. One DORO hit followed the other and DORO really kept her promise when she said “We got a lot of suprises for you tonight.“ Besides tons of great songs DORO also presented a fantastic show with lots of great effects. A very special highlight – besides many – was her performance with Marc Storace of Krokus and Luke Gasser. They sang the song “On my own“ (from the movie “Anuk – Path of the warrior“). During the Aftershow Party the party went on and DORO was more than happy. Everybody had a great time – THANK YOU SO MUCH, DORO FOR A FANTASTIC NIGHT – YOU ARE THE BEST!!! |

Berlin really rocks!! As so many DORO Fans want to see our Queen's show in Berlin, DORO changed the venue from Postbahnhof to Huxley's Neue Welt (Hasenheide 107, 10967 Berlin).
"So many Fans wanted to see the show in Berlin that we realized that the former venue, Postbahnhof, would be too small to have all of them see the show", says DORO. "Therefore we decided to change the venue and so the show is now taking place at Huxley's new - and bigger - world. I just want to give as many of my Fans as possible the chance to see the show."

This Saturday (October 10) Fans will get the chance meet DORO in Cologne. Besides the show at the Live Music Hall in Cologne DORO invites her Fans to an exclusive Meet & Greet after the show. So you will get the chance to see the Metal Queen twice that ev ening. All you have to do is have a little patience and meet in front of the stage after the show. DORO will come to meet you, talk to you and give you autographs or take photos with you later on. Those of you who already have a ticket for the show can party out already – those who haven't got a ticket yet should make sure to get one as soon as possible at www.koelnticket.de. This week our Metal Queen will pay several visits to Cologne. Besides her headlining show (support: Holy Moses, Cripper) in the Live Music Hall in Cologne on Saturday, October 10, DORO will also be in Cologne on Thursday, October 8. In the afternoon she will stop by at the Music Store Cologne for an exclusive signing session before she will attend a discussion in the evening. Three other Metal Ladies will be joining her then: Sabina Classen, Angela Gossow and Britta Götz (Cripper). So if you are free on that day and if you are in the area, make sure you meet the Metal Queen in the Music Store (at 4.30 pm). | SEPTEMBER 16, 2009 - DORO celebrates another anniversary show |
On March 13, 2010 DORO will celebrate another very special anniversary. She will be playing live her 2,500th show that night.
A special show deserves a special location – therefore the Metal Queen will return to her hometown Duesseldorf to rock the Burgwächter Castello, a new concert arena in Duesseldorf.
„I will be playing live in the Burgwächter Castello for the first time. It is a wonderful new concert hall with the best equipment you can get. The best part for the Fans surely is the fact that you can see the stage from all seats and that the Fans are real close to the stage.“
Those of you who want to see the show should order tickets soon as on ly 2,500 tickets will be sold. You can order tickets via www.d-ticket.de
Tickets cost between 38 and 42 Euro and doors open at 7 p.m.

| AUGUST 13, 2009 - Two shows in 20 hours |
DORO really has a lot of power – that's not a secret anymore. She proved this once again last weekend when she rocked live for her Fans at the legendary Wacken Open Air in Germany and at the Rock Of Ages Festival in Seebronn. These two amazing gigs involved travelling 850 kilometers trough Germany and that was too much for the tour bus. It broke down near Stuttgart.
“It was really a lot of work to play two shows in 24 hours. But the Fans were happy and the gigs were great to it was all worth it“ - DORO says.

DORO can't be stopped: a week later she was back in Düsseldorf to party out with her Fans again. This time she met her Die-Hard Fanclubmembers to celebrate her new album with them. The Fans got a chance to meet her Metal Queen personally and to chat with her, take pictures and get autographs. Everybody had a great time and enjoyed the event.
“I love my Fans more than anything else in the world. I'm so happy when I can spend time with them. I'm glad they all came to join our meeting and I really had a great time”. So did the Fans, DORO – THANK YOU!!!

| JUNE 10, 2009 - DORO Sings the new Wacken Hymn |
Every nation in the world has its own hymn and now one of the biggest metal festivals gets its own one as well. This year the Wacken Open Air celebrates its 20th anniversary and therefore a new song called “We Are The Metalheads” has been written exclusively for the festival.
DORO will sing the new song which was written and produced by Olaf Stern (SternEntertainmentProductions). “The lyrics and the music of the song really reflect the ideas and the life of Heavy Metal Fans. Heavy Metal means more than just listening to music – Heavy Metal means to be free and it is about true feelings and values,” says Stern.
Wacken Boss Holger Hübner adds: “DORO will sing the new song live on July 31 in Wacken. She will perform it with Skyline, the band my partner Thomas Jensen was in a couple of years ago. They will reunite for this special and unique show. DORO really is the best person to sing the song as she embodies everything the song is about. She is a great singer and her voice will give the new hymn a unique touch. The Fans will surely get shivers up and down their spine.”
DORO is honored to sing the song. “It is a great song. I hope the Fans will love it as much as I do. I can't wait to play it live for the Fans at the Wacken Open Air.”
Those of you who didn't get a ticket for the festival (it is sold out since December 2008) must not be too sad. DORO will play live at the Wacken Rocks Festivals in Aurich and Rieden/Kreuth, Germany in August where she will perform the new song “We Are The Metalheads” as well.
